Our discussion this month will explore how civil cervants in Indonesia handle the task of reporting corruption-related information. Using Bourdieu’s thinking tools, particularly his concept of ‘hysteresis,’ we delve into the complexities and tensions they encounter, as well as strategies they use, as they grapple with new accountability demands that challenge and misaligned with their established work and relationships.
